The independent curricullum is a curricullum that has diversity in the learning process which aim to hone, develop and optimize learning based on student's needs with various teaching materials and tools that teacher can use and choose. The author 's attraction for conducting research at RA Rahmah El yunusiyyah Padang panjang is similar to the independent curricullum. The aim of this research is to determine teacher strategies in implementing the independent curricullum at RA Rahmah El yunusiyyah Padang panjang. The type of research that researchers use is qualitative research using a descriptive approach with data collection techniques namely observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis techniques that researchers use are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion or verification. Based on data analysis, can be concluded that the teacher's strategy in implementing the independent curricullum at RA Rahmah El yunusiyyah Padang panjang is carried out that: a) the teachers understand the character of each student. b) the teacher map the abilities of each student. c) the activity is focused on developing children's abilities and refer to cultivating the character of Pancasila an rahmatan Lil 'alamin student in form of mini project. d) carry out routine assessment of children. Meanwhile the supporting and inhibiting factors for teacher in implementing the independent curricullum at RA Rahmah El yunusiyyah Padang panjang come from internal and external factors of the schoolÂ
